Sales Associate
Description:
A sales associate will work with a team to sell to potential
customers our web design, web hosting and web marketing services.
The position will require that the successful candidate will
have the drive, determination and love to sell.
Required Skills and Abilities:
The skills and abilities needed to effectively fulfill this
position include: effective communication, enthusiasm to sell,
intuition into human nature, knowledge of Internet marketing
techniques, business savvy and professional etiquette. A minimum
2 years' experience is desired. A vehicle or access to a vehicle
on a regular basis, a valid Montana drivers' license with a
good driving record in the last 3 years and valid vehicle insurance
are required. Experience with the ACT sales database and Microsoft
Office packages as well as experience with computers and the
Internet is a plus but not required. We are willing to provide
computer training to the best-qualified candidate if they have
a proven successful sales record.
Compensation:
A successful candidate will be paid a commission from each
sale as payment. This commission will be based on a percentage
of the deposit payable at the time payment is received from
the customer in addition to a percentage of the amount billed
for each project worked on by the web developers. Commission
will continue to be paid to the salesperson as long as they
maintain a good working relationship with the customer. Depending
on our customer's needs, we may be hosting their web sites on
our server and these web sites may continue to grow over time.
Based on these criteria, the commission may continue for many
months and may increase for cases where our customers may want
to develop bigger web sites. Irregardless of the speculativeness
of these web sites, the commission will remain as long as the
customer remains with our service. After a 3 month probationary
period which is customary for all qualified candidates and dependent
on the job performance, the option of receiving a supplemental
salaried income may be introduced.
